These Boots were Made for Walking…and Style

Those who go to Zermatt take three things seriously: outdoor pursuits, food and shopping. Between the end of skiing and dinner, it is always nice to potter around a town but normally I am not particularly inspired by what I see. However, there was so much in Zermatt that my bank account would not allow. A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that a pair of Moon Boots made the final fashion edit, sadly a pair of Ammann shoes did not.

Ammann is a Swiss brand established in 1917, as well as surviving two World Wars it is still run by the same family. Classic Swiss inspiration is rejuvenated with bright colours and contrasting materials for the contemporary walker, the personal touch comes in the fact that most models are named after Swiss towns and cities. The model which really caught my eye was the Town 2 model, animal print and bright laces combined with strong high ankle supports make these stylishly-practical.
