Humour Fran

“Love of clothing is what I have instead of spirituality. It is personal, transcendent, and deeply fulfilling” Fran Lebowitz

Humorist and androgynous style icon Fran Lebowitz is one of few women who has had the honour of having a bespoke suit made by Savile Row’s Anderson and Sheppard. A steadfastly men’s wear tailor, A&S have refused practically every women’s bespoke request bar Lebowitz’s. Not out of sexism mind, rather due to a lack of experience and fear of disappointing customers. However, on account of Lebowtiz’s desire for a man’s suit, A&S do not decline her requests. Honestly speaking, not many women could carry a man’s suit quite like Lebowitz.
