Oh Michelle! Actually, I mean Michelle Oh. The Central St Martins’ grad is now a London-based designer of fine and fashion jewellery as well as leather accessories. All the pieces from her small production run collections have been designed and hand made with care using locally sourced materials. The gemstones used are 100% natural and handpicked from a local family owned gem dealing company, recycled metal is used as much as possible and the leather accessories use off cuts sourced from London based tanneries. If it’s a one of a kind piece you are after the Michelle is used to working to specific briefs and budgets. What something even more personal? Well, you are in luck. Michelle has teamed with Oh Comely to create a pop-up shop over the summer where you can smelt and decorate your own rings. Now that’s a wedding band or friendship ring and a half! Also part of the workshop season is a purse, oyster holder, camera strap or portfolio making session with Elizabeth Dunn and a lamp creating class with homeware brand Espergaerde.
