Secret Savile Row Garden

I love peering through the shop windows of Savile Row. Impeccably constructed suits using traditional standards and modern fabrication stand to attention side by side. To me, a man in a properly tailored suit is dangerously irresistible.

Today, I had the pleasure of trotting up and down The Row a couple of times; each journey I slowed to admire the mystical window of Huntsman. It is a window into a secret city garden. The display is a wonderful reminder of those annual British Summer events which began before anyone’s living memory. Men and women dress in their best, hoping the rain holds off. Many of these occasions stipulate a dress code but these rules are not necessarily stretched to one’s behaviour…
